Lot Description  

1916 Large portrait photograph of former New York Giants superstar and now member of the Brooklyn Dodgers, Rube Marquard, posing in the team's classic checker-board uniforms and looking like a rock star at the ballpark. One of his best images we have ever seen, this is stamped on the back by Charles Conlon and in great shape, representing the only example of this photograph we have ever seen. Encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1 and grading almost perfect.
