Original photo of a young Hank Aaron in uniform with the Milwaukee Braves from early in his career and almost certainly from spring training 1955. The Braves uniforms did not change much but we feel confident based on our handling of other Braves team issued from the era, including Aaron, that this is from 1955. Condition and quality make this a nearly perfect example with crystal clarity, showing him in all his youthful excitement at being in the major leagues and showing off his new bat, ready to break it in. One of his best images for sure that dates to his first couple of years in the big leagues! This is the only example of this photograph that we have ever seen!
