Large 1950 photograph of American pitcher Hoyt Wilhelm who had jumped to the Cuban Winter Leagues to earn some extra money, early in his career and posed in the locker room and talking with the manager. This is likely the only example that exists and the figure of Wilhelm is particularly strong at center! A bold image from a local Cuban photographer that predates his rookie baseball card by two years and is being offered here for the first time ever.
