1920 Portrait style photograph of Ty Cobb from the Detroit Tigers and capturing the superstar wearing the armband for Ray Chapman, putting this at the end of the season. A bold and beautiful vintage image on appropriate paper but unstamped and with the paper caption ripped off, this also captures a ripped jersey on Cobb, likely from his rough style of play. One of his best photographs we have ever offered and certainly the best portrait from the 1920's that exists, this is being offered here for the first time ever!
