The 1927 season has gone down in history as the greatest of all time for the famed New York Yankees and it all started here on opening day. The great Babe Ruth was invited to spent a moment with Graham McNamee and his national radio audience as the two men sat behind the microphone at Yankee Stadium and mused about the upcoming season with plenty of smiles and optimism to go around. This is one of the only vintage examples of this photograph known to exist and it is encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1 as well! The photo presents well with a few pinholes from editorial use being the only flaw beyond some minimal handling wear.
