Large and stunning c. 1908-1912 portrait photograph of early vaudeville and Hollywood actress Ethel Barrymore. She was a major part of acting history and one of the top draws of her day with this being the finest image of her we have ever seen. A double weight masterpiece by the famous Sarony studios, this presents well with pinholes from editorial use and some really minor corner wear being the only flaws. There is a 1912 filing date on the back but this is when the Central Press starting stamping their photographs and not when it was issued.
