1890's Cabinet photograph of a baseball team in uniform and proudly posing at the ballpark in uniform. A slice of Americana, the image captures players in uniform and an early catchers mitt is the only semblance of the modern game creeping into the game. A ring bat and ball are present in the image as well as a typical c. 1889-1892 tie neck jersey. A cool image that has all the bells and whistles, including the wooden backstop, the is a high grade piece of photography that looks great. The photo has another photograph glued to the back which looks like an early train station.
