1929 Vintage photograph of young basketball star George Gregory from Columbia University. Taken from early in his career, he would lead Columbia to the top of the basketball world in 1930-31 and become the first ever black player to be named All American in the process. This is the only image of Gregory in uniform we have ever seen, issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption as well. One of the most historically important basketball images we have ever offered and it grades a perfect 10/10!
