1955 Original photo of a young Hank Aaron in uniform with the Milwaukee Braves from early in his career and showing him choosing his weapon during spring training. The Braves issued this style of photo between 1954-56 but we feel very confident in our 1955 date (this is from the exact same spring training (matched) as another Aaron we sold in our May 2021 auction which had a pre-season 1956 date stamp on the back meaning it was on file already from previous season! This is one of the finest images of Aaron that has ever been offered as it shows the youngster looking directly at the camera with crystal clarity. The quality of the image is perfect and this is one of his greatest photos ever taken of the underrated superstar. Signed on the front by Aaron at a later date, but before his signature started to get shaky, and authenticated by PSA. The stamp on the back is from the collector who got the photo signed years ago and the photo itself predates the stamp by generations.
