1945 Official U.S. Navy photograph of Admiral Chester Nimitz signing the official surrender of Japan that would end WWII in the Pacific. Taken aboard the USS Missouri, this is an important piece of history that is seldom seen in original form. The offered example is a completely vintage 8x10 that bears the important purple government text on the back which will cement this as a Type 1 from PSA as well. The photo has minimal handling wear from news-room use but it otherwise presents beautifully.
