Important 1961 early photograph of Alan Shepard looking over the craft that would take him into space as the first ever man to do it. It was announced that he had been selected "the first US space man." Issued by NASA and stamped on the front , the image also has date stamps and a big paper caption as well. One of the earliest and finest images of Shepard that exists and condition is fantastic.
