Before the film "Star Wars" came out in 1977, every minute detail had to be worked out during the filming process, including photographing and studying the weapons that would be used. Here we see a contact sheet with four large images of the new weapon that would be introduced in the film, the light saber! The photograph captures two images from each side of the weapon and was likely taken in 1976 during the earliest days of the filming. An important image from perhaps the most famous film of all time, this is a restrike but developed in a dark room in the 1990's. Condition and quality are both perfect and this would look amazing framed on a wall for display.
