Large c. 1942 photograph of actress Greer Garson who won the Academy Award for best actress for her role in "Mrs. Miniver" in which she gave a long acceptance speech, the longest ever in fact. She was constantly being nominated as best actress and is widely regarded as being one of the most talented of her era. The offered photo is beautiful and clear, essentially perfect and stamped on the back by MGM photographer Lazslo Willinger. One of her greatest images we have ever handled.
