1915 Large, double weight portrait photograph of racer Dario Resta. Fresh off his victory at the Vanderbilt Cup, he was hoping to win the Indianapolis 500 (a feat he would accomplish in 1916). A bold and beautiful image, this is one of his finest ever taken! From the studio of an Indianapolis photographer, the image is essentially perfect with two tiny pinholes from editorial use being the only flaw.
