1927 Rare photograph of the famous race horse "Chance Shot" as it was being hailed as one of the favorites at the Kentucky Derby. While not a winner in this race, he would win the Belmont Stakes a few months later, etching his name into the history books. Issued by Fotograms and in nice shape overall with a few light pinholes from editorial use, this is one of the only images of this famous horse we have ever seen.
