Bert Bell is a member of the football Hall of Fame and one of the true pioneers of the sport. On October 11, 1959, Bell attended a game at Franklin Field in Philadelphia and suffered a massive heart attack. He was rushed out of the stands and into an ambulance (seen here) but he was dead on arrival and probably already dead when this image was taken. A poignant and dramatic image in pretty nice shape, this is the only example from this event we have ever seen!
