Rare 1925 rookie-era photograph of New York Giants star Lewis "Hack" Wilson from the genesis of his career. The partially visible uniform patch on his shoulder dates the photograph. Images of Wilson from his Giants days are exceptionally rare as he was not a good player until a change of scenery revived his career. In fact, when this photo was taken, Wilson had a grand total of ten home runs in two complete seasons! Deep and precise, the clear image is one of the best we have ever seen in any form and it presents well with just some minor wear at the top border area.
