Lot Description  

1917 Large action photograph of Detroit Tigers star Bobby Veach as he launches a ball and watches it fly away. A bold and crystal clear image in nice shape overall with a couple pinholes and marks from editorial use, this bears the stamp and handwritten notes on the back from photographer Charles Conlon. One of Veach's most famous images ever taken, this was used to make his M114 baseball card (Baseball Magazine Premium). One of his greatest images ever taken!
