1924 Incredibly early photograph of the new leaders of the German socialist party, posed in front of the court house where Eric Ludendorff had just been acquitted of treason. This was one of the first steps toward overthrowing the government by the Nazi's and as such is one of the most important early photographs of Hitler that exists. He stands defiant and looking full of life, but in just ten years he would be flexing his muscle and laying the groundwork for the most evil regime of the 20th century. Images of Hitler are notorious for being off copy negatives as the glass plates were almost always kept in Europe, but this important photograph is the exception as it was developed off the original glass plate and then sent over to the United States via boat and distributed to a New York newspaper archive. Stamped on the back by the Keystone View Company, the photo is in nice shape overall with note to a few pinholes from editorial use and a light crease at the top. Encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1, this is the only example of this photograph that we have ever seen and it is being offered here for the first time ever!
