Rare 1983 action photograph of Hall of Famer John Stockton when we was a young player at Gonzaga University. Barely on radar of most NBA teams, Stockton would become the most dominant point guard in NBA history for the Utah Jazz. Taken by a local photographer named Dick Rosetta, this is a unique new discovery being offered for the first time and is from 5 years before his NBA rookie card! Condition and quality are both outstanding and the paper label on the front was glued on by a newspaper (local to Spokane). It was attached so the photo could be used as the wire-proof sent to the Salt Lake Tribune so they could use it as THE photo used to announce that the Jazz had picked Stockton in the draft in 1984! Quite possibly the most important photograph of Stockton to ever be auctioned and in great shape!
