Bob Lemon's baseball rookie card is in the 1949 Bowman set, but this photo of the Hall of Famer pre-dates that by a full year. A double weight, silver gelatin beauty, this is crystal clear and was taken during the 1948 season and bears a stamp from September on the reverse. One of the earliest and finest images of the Hall of Famer we have ever seen and it is being offered here for the first time ever! Note, white spots on the right were a flaw in the negative and not on this print which grades a perfect 10/10!
