Johnny Taylor was a mainstay of the Negro Leagues from 1935-1944, pitching in a ton of games and going 7-2 for the Pittsburgh Crawfords in 1938. When this incredible profile shot was taken in 1946, he was left to wonder what could have been if he had been just a bit younger as Jackie Robinson had just been signed by the Dodgers! This is one of the only images of Taylor known to exist and it is a unique new discovery that is being offered here for the first time ever!
