Walter Beall is famous for being obscure. While other baseball players of similar skill are long forgotten, Beall is treasured by collectors for being among the toughest 1927 Yankees players to find photos and autographs of. His signature is a multi-thousand dollar item and original photographs in full uniform are even more scarce. Image is a bold and beautiful example that actually dates to the previous season (1926). Condition is nice with a light corner crease (lower right) and some mild artistic enhancements. Easily among the greatest images of obscure "Murderers Row" Pitcher Walter Beall that exists!
