Large 1926 photograph of the Cincinnati Reds as they pose at the ballpark before opening day. They were only seven years removed from their World Series championship over the Black Sox, but were stuck near the basement in the revamped National League. Among those pictured are Hall of Famers Eppa Rixey, Bobby Wallace (coach), and Edd Roush along with stars like Carl Mays, Wally Pipp, and Jewish player Sammy Bohne. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and with a large paper caption on the back. The photo is in pretty nice shape with note to a corner chip off the lower left.
