1919 World Series dated photo of Oscar "Happy" Felsch, one of the most tragic tales in baseball history. He was one of the real stars of the Chicago Black Sox and one of the players who had a legitimate Hall of Fame career ahead of him had he not been banished from the game. A superstar defensive center fielder and a man who hit .338 with 115 RBI's in 1920 before the ban, his best years were likely still ahead of him. The offered image is perhaps the nicest photo of Felsch in the hobby and likely unique, this is from NEA and contains the important date on the back. Condition and quality are both outstanding.
