Incredible 1953 photograph of young John F. Kennedy and his fiancé Jaqueline Bouvier as they were married at St. Mary's church in Newport, seconds away from cementing their union. While we have seen re-strikes of this image in the past, this is the only Type 1 (Vintage 1) image of the wedding of Jack and Jackie that we have ever seen! Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this is identified on the back as being the work of photographer Frank Jurkoski who was the only photographer allowed inside the cathedral as far as we know. Condition and quality are both outstanding. One of only a handful of original images from the most famous wedding of the 20th century that we have ever seen!
