1942 Sweeping photograph of Hall of Famer Leo Durocher as he looks over his squad during a defeat to the Giants. While still early in the pennant race, the loss seemed ominous for the Dodgers as their lead would dwindle and disappear to the Cardinals in the coming weeks. Somehow it seemed Durocher knew this was going to happen! Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a paper caption, the photo presents well with note to a small area of wear in the dugout background that blends in pretty well.
