1926 Action photograph of Urban Shocker, the man who would become the rarest of all 1927 New York Yankees players to find quality images of as he would die a few years later in 1928. Clear and bold, Shocker appears the picture of health in this image but in reality he had only a few years left. Stamped on the back from the end of the 1926 season, just after being traded from the Browns, and issued through Fotograms and stamped on the back. The image is crystal clear and bold with pinholes from editorial use and a tiny red ink stain being the only flaws.
