1990 Full color action photograph of tragic N.C. State basketball coach Jim Valvano as he takes to the floor to express his frustrations with the referee. A rare image of this icon of college basketball, he would soon be diagnosed with cancer and pass away but not before his fight and message touched millions. A unique new discovery that is being offered here for the first time ever and identified on the back as the work of photographer Jon Kral of the Miami Herald.
