1914 Horizontal batting photograph of Joe Connolly from the Boston Braves and taken from early in their championship season. While not immediately recognizable, the face portion of this photograph is 100% the image that was blown up and used to make Connolly's 1915 Cracker Jack baseball card making it an incredible piece of baseball card history as very few Cracker Jack images have surfaced in the hobby. Stamped on the back by Conlon and on the appropriate large, borderless paper that he used in the mid 1910's cementing this as a guaranteed Type 1 example! The full sized, pre-WWI images by Charles Conlon are undervalued in the hobby and this one is great!
