While Harmon Killebrew came up for a few games in 1954, he was a bonus baby and had to be on the roster, but never really played. 1955 Seemed like it would be a break out season for the rookie, but even in his second year technically, he was still a rookie because he had only played in nine games in 1954 fresh out of high school. Here he is though early in the 1955 season and signing autographs for some kids at the ballpark. A touching image that is among the earliest and the finest of any images of Killebrew we have ever seen! Early images of Killebrew are rare because he did not really play much and this one is an absolute gem!
