Set of two original July 6, 1942 image of the first All-Star Game during WWII at the Polo Grounds in New York. The first image shows the players during fielding practice and the grand stands while the other shows the field during a thunder shower and a rain delay. The delay made it possible for another first in All Star history, the game had to be played under the lights! A unique set of two images in great shape.
