Large c. 1919 pitching action photo of star pitcher of the Chicago White Sox Claude "Lefty" Williams in uniform. He would lead the team to a World Series championship in 1917 and then participate in the greatest scandal in sports history as a member of the 1919 Black Sox as well. This is the finest image of Williams that we know of in the hobby and it displays wonderfully. Taken by photographer Charles Conlon and signed on the back with his handwritten notes as well, this has been slightly trimmed down from an original 8x10 issue.
