1951 Famous photograph of veteran Joe DiMaggio in his final season in the big leagues and posing with his successor, young rookie Mickey Mantle. We have never seen another example of this photograph that was developed in a dark room off the original negative until now and while this is a slightly later restrike (c. 1970's) it presents beautifully and in a massive size! One of the most historically significant images of Mantle and DiMaggio ever taken and offered here for the first time ever at auction. This will get a Type 2 and likely c. 1970's from PSA.
