Large 1931 action photograph of Babe Ruth playing first base for the Yankees which was a rarity, and showing him trying to make a play. His famous number 3 is clearly visible which is a nice touch and the pitcher in the play is also a Hall of Famer, young Lefty Gomez. The clarity of the image is off the charts considering it was taken at a distance, obviously done by a skilled photographer. Stamped on the back by Acme and with a small paper caption as well, the photo has some small spots of wear at the edges and one tiny rip repaired with tape on the back.
