1924 Sweeping horizontal photograph of the famed Griffith Stadium in Washington DC, home of the Washington Senators as the city prepared for the first game of the World Series. A beautiful image from Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption, this is one of the best images of Griffith Stadium we have seen in any form! Photo has some wear and creasing (along with a few pinholes) from news-room use and it looks much better than the technical grade.
