Original 1918 photograph of young Boston Red Sox pitcher Babe Ruth who was starting to make a name for himself with the bat as well. A fine original image issued by Underwood and Underwood, this has a period late 1910's stamp on the back making this a rarity among collectors who want a period Red Sox Ruth piece at an affordable price. Encapsulated by PSA as a 1919 (when the photo was issued) Type 3. The image looks great despite a chip off the lower right corner and comes with an LOA as well as the slabbed image.
