The story of Teddy Roosevelt and the famous Rough Riders is perhaps overblown, due mostly to the fact that Roosevelt himself wrote the history of the regiment, but history tells us they were bad ass and almost single handedly won the Spanish American War. Here, Roosevelt returns home from the war still wearing his uniform and is greeted by his friends at the train station. A completely vintage cabinet photograph, this is being offered here for the first time ever, fresh out of a newspaper archive.
