The story of "Barbaro" is one of triumph and tragedy, unfortunately in that order. He would win the 2006 Kentucky Derby but would break bones in his foot later and have t be put down as a result. This was taken and developed completely off a digital camera but there is essentially no other alternative considering the time he raced in. A beautiful vintage image in great shape.
