One of the most famous home runs ever hit in baseball history was the monster shot off the bat of Reggie Jackson during the 1971 All-Star Game. He was a young star with promise before he launched a pitch from Doc Ellis into the upper rafters at Tiger Stadium, but after the ball hit his bat, he was a national superstar. The offered photograph from photographer Malcolm Emmons is the ONLY image from the home run, showing Jackson crossing home plate, that we have ever seen. An important piece of baseball history and in great shape!
