1962 Rookie year portrait photograph of Hall of Famer Gaylord Perry in uniform and striking a familiar pose. While more research is need, this looks like it could very well be the image used to make his 1962 Topps rookie card. The card photo is colorized artwork so things like the hit top, undershirt and anything on the uniform could have been done by artists. The most important part of the image is the face itself and when it is overlayed over the card photo, everything is exact down to the smallest detail. It is possible another photo exists where he is holding his face at the exact same image, but not likely and no type 1 example of his rookie image has ever surfaced! This could be it!
