Dizzy Dean is one of the most popular and highly sought after stars of the 1930's, but he flamed out fast making images of him rare. Even rarer are images of him toiling in the minor leagues after he had been washed up in the big leagues from arm trouble. The offered photograph is one of the only images we have ever seen capturing Dean in uniform with Tulsa as he tried to work his way back to the big leagues. A rare piece of baseball history, issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. The photo has a crease on the left and some painting from editorial use but it looks great!
