Lot Description  

1927 Detailed and artistic photograph of the eyes of Yankees Hall of Famer Earle Combs. Taken by noted photographer Charles Conlon while we was on assignment from Underwood and Underwood, this is a fine condition example with great detail. One of the most famous subsets ever done by a photographer, Conlon's "Eyes of the Yankees" series are extremely rare and always highly sought after by collectors.
