Few teams in the history of baseball have had as many young superstars as the New York Giants of 1924. Already stacked with Hall of Famers like Frankie Frisch and Freddie Lindstrom, this team featured three young men who were not yet regulars but were scheduled to take over the game. Bill Terry (top row far right in uniform), Hack Wilson (bottom row third from left) and Travis Jackson (middle row second from left) are seen here each in uniform early in their careers. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back as well as with an identification on the front, these guys were also making their fourth consecutive trip to the World Series as well. A clear and bold piece of photography with some corner chipping being the only flaw and a full paper caption on the back. An undervalued piece of photography that would be of intense interest to "rookie card" collectors.
