Lot Description  

Completely original 1913 pitching action photograph of Christy Mathewson in his World Tour sweater and warming up at one of the stops on the tour. Mounted to thicker board, this is one of the only images of Mathewson from this team known to exist. What makes this photo special is that the sweater he is wearing is in the baseball Hall of Fame and images of it can be viewed online!
