Large c. 1912 action photograph of Earl Hamilton with the St. Louis Browns and showing off his pitching form. He was one of the top young stars in the game and even threw a no-hitter in his career, but he was eventually traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates. This is a completely legitimate c. 1912 example in which photographer Charles Conlon wrote his team in period print as "St. Louis" but then later adjusted ot to reflect that he was now with the Pirates before he sent this out to a newspaper archive. This is the finest image of Hamilton we have ever handled and it presents beautifully!
