In one of the most important and beautiful moments ever caught by a camera in the entire history of baseball, this is a fantastic look of opening day in Boston (1886). Both teams are posed on the field with flags and bunting adorning the wooden grandstands in the background. While this is a c. 1922 restrike of the image by Underwood and Underwood, it actually only dated to about 36 years after the original was taken and has about a hundred years of age to it! This is one of the only pre-war specimens of this image in the world and it presents really nicely for the age.
