President Woodrow Wilson was a famous President for his pledge to neutrality during the early days of WWI. He was committed, until he wasn't, but in 1915 he was sticking to his guns. Here he met with Col. House who had just returned from Europe where he observed the War and was set to give updates to Wilson. Issued by Underwood and Underwood, this is a large silver gelatin original that presents well with note to a pinhole at the upper corners. One of the earliest images of Wilson with the backdrop of WWI we have ever seen!
