Original 1912 photograph of early golf sensation Ted Ray as he won the British Open championship. Stamped on the back by the Chicago Tribune and with a secondary stamp from the Central Press, this is by far the earliest image of Ray we have ever seen. Photo has a crease on the lower right corner and some pinholes and tracing from artistic editorial use, but it presents beautifully.
