1925 Important photograph of slugger Babe Ruth as he reads newspaper accounts about his feud with Judge Landis and learns he has been suspended from the game he loves. This was a turning point in the career of Ruth and in reality, it was the wake up call he needed! Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. The condition and quality are both pretty nice overall with note to pinholes from editorial use in a newspaper archive.
